DMAG Church Plant

The inspiration to plant a church was born at the AG Centennial (100 years) celebration at Springfield Missouri in August 2014. The Lord ministered to my heart during the meeting to plant a church in order to touch the hearts of people out of the several millions waiting for the Gospel to be preached to them. I shared this with my wife during the conference and the fear of God overwhelmed us while she confirmed the same.

It became a burden in our hearts, and the question “How would God choose vessels like us to plant a church?” was the next puzzle we had to deal with.

We decided to get closer to the South Texas District and its programs to seek encouragement. The approach was very helpful and encouraging.

We have also been in conversation with Pastor John Aniemeke, senior pastor at Bethel Covenant AG and the South Texas District Church Planter Kendall Reavis in regards to the call on us to plant a church, and the resources were quite helpful.

On Thursday night January 21, 2016, my wife and I stopped over to attend a Thursday night prayer service at Bethel Covenant AG, en-route to Kerville TX to attend the women in ministry conference.

The meeting we had with Pastor John after this service gave birth to the decision to plant a church and with the name “Divine Mercy Assembly of God”.

On February 2, 2016 Divine Mercy Assembly of God was formally registered as a non-profit incorporation entity with the State of Texas as a religious (church) organization.

The Lord directed us to Tomball TX 77375 during the CMN Church Launch Boot camp October 12-14, 2016, San Antonio, TX; to start the Launch Team.

In July 2017, the Lord directed us to plant the Church in “Cyfair Community” Houston TX.

DMAG Church was commissioned October 1, 2017 at Foundations Academy premises 11825 Fallbrook Drive – by South TX District Superintendent “Rev. Tim Barker”. The Church moved to 9720 Jones Road, Houston TX 77065 in October 2018.

YAHWEH knows our final destination!
